Casa dei Portici was born as a luxury residence. The building, already renovated in the past, needed a profound redevelopment requested by the new generation of the owning family. The project was able to combine the need with the opportunities of building bonuses, elevating energy efficiency without giving up the exclusivity of the location.

The design challenge allowed for updating the energy comfort parameters, consolidating the value and prestige of the property in the high-end market.
While the exterior and the systems were subject to a global intervention, the restyling of the interiors focused on the annex, transforming it into a new independent and functional living unit. Here, the care for detail and the choice of materials followed the philosophy of the entire project: innovating with respect for history. The final result is the intertwining of past and future, reminding us that every architectural intervention is, first of all, a piece of lived life.
The recovery of the annex allowed for enhancing the existing volumes, creating a new living space with a contemporary and refined design.
